Live the Teachings. Embody the Path.

Knowmadic’s advanced Yoga Teacher Training is an invitation to deepen both what you teach and how you live. This 300-hour training goes beyond posture and technique to explore Yoga as a living philosophy which illuminates the path to greater awareness, alignment, and intentional living.

Though designed for 200-hour registered Yoga teachers wishing to further their education, this program is open to anyone wanting to deepen their practice and integrate ancient wisdom into modern life.

A Training for the Whole Self

This isn’t just about becoming a more advanced yoga teacher. It’s about becoming a better human. You’ll refine your teaching skills, but equally important, you’ll explore the inner landscape of Yoga: self-study, ethical living, and conscious connection… the heart of what it means to live Yoga off the mat.

How We Meet (and Exceed) Yoga Alliance Requirements

Techniques, Training, and Practice

We use asana, pranayama, and meditation as gateways to mindfulness and intentionality. Beyond physical refinement, you’ll learn how these practices cultivate presence, compassion, and clarity…all qualities essential for a meaningful life and for guiding others. You’ll experience advanced asana labs, subtle body study, pranayama with purpose, self-inquiry practices, and techniques for emotional regulation.

Teaching Methodology

Teaching is a form of service. You’ll learn how to hold space, use inclusive language, and design classes that reflect both ancient wisdom and modern needs. Through mentorship, observation, and feedback, you’ll learn to guide students not just through movement, but through the deeper principles of mindful living.

Anatomy and Physiology

Our anatomy studies support awareness of how the body reveals our habits, tensions, and potential for transformation. You’ll study biomechanics, the nervous system, and somatic intelligence in order to teach safely, as well as understand how body awareness leads to emotional and energetic balance.

Philosophy, Lifestyle, and Ethics

This is the heart and soul of our training. With the support of ancient texts and modern science, we will uncover timeless insights into presence, purpose, and right action. Through discussion, journaling, and experiential practices, you’ll explore:

  • the Yamas and Niyamas as a modern code for intentional living
  • the art of Svadhyaya (self-study) and how to apply it in real life
  • Yogic perspectives on energy, food, rest, and relationships
  • ethics and integrity as the foundation of authentic teaching

Practicum

You’ll put your learning into practice through teaching, mentorship, and reflection. You’ll design and teach classes aligned with your personal truth, facilitate discussion circles, and participate in community exploration and feedback (both giving and receiving).

A Life-Changing Journey

This training is for teachers and seekers who are ready to:

  • Deepen self awareness and embody yoga as a way of life
  • Align daily choices with yogic values of compassion, discipline, and integrity
  • Teach from a lived experience rather than memorized cues or sequences
  • Bring Yogic wisdom into relationships, work, and service

You’ll complete this program with a Yoga Alliance approved 300 hour certification, but more importantly, you’ll leave transformed: grounded in who you are, clear in your purpose, and inspired to guide others toward intentional living.
