When the world slows down in winter, nature reminds us to do the same. Beneath the frozen earth, roots strengthen, seeds rest, and quiet renewal takes place. All too often, we spend the winter months hibernating completely and ignoring the possibility of growth- or the polar opposite (pun intended)- we go, go, go and push and produce, even when it feels unnatural. What if this season, you lean into natures’s energy and allow yourself to get fully grounded and to grow softly, intentionally, kindly- so that when spring arrives, you step into the new season renewed and full of vitality?
Roots and Renewal is a 12-week program designed to help you align with winter’s cycles to cultivate slow, steady transformation from the inside out.
This journey is for you if you’re ready to:

Feel more grounded and resilient during the darker months.

Create nourishing daily rituals rooted in Ayurveda.

Explore your inner landscape through guided reflection.

Release what no longer serves you and plant seeds of new intention.

Move into spring with clarity, vitality, and renewed purpose.
Roots and Renewal is divided into four phases designed to nurture and inspire you throughout the winter season. Each week includes a themed yoga class and meditation, journaling prompts, self care rituals, and practical life coaching exercises to help you ground and grow.

Weeks 1-3: Slowing Down, Creating Sanctuary, Planting Intentions
In Phase One, you’ll get grounded and welcome winter as a season of stillness and gestation. You can expect to learn and explore:

- Nourishment in Mind, Body, Spirit, and Relationships
- Time auditing to discover your natural rhythm
- Restorative Rest

Weeks 4-6: Looking Inward, Processing Emotions, Clarifying Values
Phase Two invites you to turn your attention inward, harnessing the stillness of the season to heighten awareness, acknowledge emotions, and stoke your inner fire for the things that really matter to you. You can expect to learn and explore:
- Honoring the darkness as fertile ground, shadow work, exploring limiting beliefs
- Agni as the digestive and mental fire
- Identifying core values
- Deep listening- to self and nature

Weeks 7-9: Clarity, Dreaming, Preparing the Soil for Spring
In Phase Three, you’ll use imagination and visualization to feed the seeds of your dreams. Expect to explore:

Weeks 10-12: Integration, Resilience, Emerging with Vitality
In the fourth and final phase, you’ll integrate all that you’ve learned in the prior weeks and prepare for the transition into Spring. Expect to learn and explore:
- Ayurvedic practices to support immunity
- Cleansing rituals and keys to easeful transition
- Celebration of successes
- Embodied gratitude
Winter is often overlooked as a time for growth, but just like the roots of a tree, our unseen inner work now is creating the foundation for everything that blooms in the spring. By slowing down and tuning into the wisdom of the season, you prepare yourself for lasting transformation. The seeds you plant this winter will shape the life you grow in the seasons to come.
Already have plans for winter? Maybe Spring is your season! Check out Bloom.
